DESCRIPTION:
Our Grom X category of boards is for kids in the 40-100 pound range. These boards are scaled down versions of our Performance and Alternative Shortboard models.
Scaling boards down to grom dimensions can be a little tricky but over the years we’ve come up with a formula that really works. Boards are adjusted according to the size of the Grom and the waves he/she will be riding it in. We consider the board model itself and the board’s variables such as length, outline, rockers, concaves, fin placements and more.
In the years past we fortunately have had a lot of young teamriders who have given us valuable feedback. Eventually it evolved into the Grom X designs we have today. Big Mahalos to them all!
